I was born on July 29, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois in 1979 with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry. I entered Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1983 with honors in Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Oral Surgery. After graduation , I completed a three year post-graduate General Dentistry Residency program in the United States Air Force.
There are many professional organizations to which I belong. These organizations deal with dental implants, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, and general dental topics. I was elected for and received fellowship status in the American Academy of General Dentistry for completing 500 hours of continuing education and passing an extensive examination.
My wife Jill and I live in Creve Coeur with our 4 children: Ryan, Brad, Alyssa and Jaime. My community service includes as follows: Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House, Development Board of the Accion Social Comunitaria and numerous church activities. For exercise I bike ride, run and lift weights. My hobbies include both water and snow skiing, computers, reading and spending time with my kids.
